Hello every one, Hope you all have had a great last couple of weeks. I have had a great last couple of weeks. Lets start with last weekend. I got the chance to go down to Lewiston and spend the weekend at the 3K racing head quarters / shop and all I can say is wow. There is such much more than I would have every guessed that goes into building a car fitting a body and motor building. I am very anxious to learn more. I have to give a big thanks to Kevin McKeehan for letting me come down and spend the weekend with him. As well as Kelly McKeehan for letting me stay in her home, Even though she was in Texas buying fabric for her work and it is called fabric not material just so you know. I hope that there will be many more weekend down in Lewiston learning for Kevin. I would love to go back this weekend but they will be up here for the 2007 State Line Speedway Awards Banquet.

Which brings me to my next subject this weekend being awards weekend. I am looking for to getting our fourth place trophy this year and look forward to next year and hopefully bringing JA MotorSports back to there Championship ways. Keep posted though out the next couple of weeks to the web site to see the developments of the JA MotorSports Pontiac Grand Prix.

Talk to you soon

Hello every one, I hope you all have had a great week. My week was busy but fun. I started my new job at DAA North West Auto Body as a paint prepped. It is a great change over working at the gym. The schedule is nice too. I work four tens with the opportunity for over time on Friday. This is going to be really helpful during the off season with plans of me traveling to Lewiston on a pretty regular basis, to help Kevin McKeehan rebuilding our Chevy Monte Carlo.

Since the off season just began the team and I are taking a little break from the racing world and when I say little I mean little. We have a TON of work to do this off season to rebound as a race team after this year. The work will began when we start tearing down the Ron Rhode Racing Pontiac Grand-Prix so we can return the car back to Ron and Susan Rohde, Which I can't thank enough for all of there help this season between the on and off track help that we received I can't thank them enough.

There are just so many people to thank for all of there help this season so all I can do is start at the top and try and work my way down the list. I am sorry if I forget someone but shoot me an email if there is any thing to amend to this list.

Hello there, man what a crazy ride it has been the last couple of weeks. First with the trip down to Boise and the motor home breaking down and being under the motor home on the side of the free way with my dad Gary Allen trying to fix it. That should have been an omen of the things to come. When we got to Boise there was a buzz of anticipation in the air. With the TV. Cameras every where and trying to get our pit stall set up I was excited for the day to come. Unfortunately as every one already knows that day did not go according to plan and our week end was over soon than we had hoped.

With the generosity of Ron Rhode the road to the track began Sunday night when we got back to the shop we tore down the JA MotorSports Chevy Monte Carlo pulled the motor, the tranny, and every thing else we could think of that we might need for the Ron Rhode Racing Pontiac Grand-Prix. Monday afternoon we hopped in the van and made the journey to Lewiston ID and dropped off our car at the shop of 3K racing where Kevin McKeehan would see if he could put it back together and went and picked up the car that we would finish up the season with.

For the next week I lived at the race shop getting the Grand-Prix ready for the race on Saturday at State Line Speedway. The woos continued on the way to the track the JA MotorSports van broke it drive line. Turing around and making it back to the shop, we loaded up the motor home and made it down it to the track. Despite all of the teams hard work there were a few things that we didn't get around to and it hurt our on track performance, still we were able to stay out of trouble and bring home a top five finish.

I can't say thanks enough to Ron Rohde for letting us borrow his back up car for the remainder of the season. As well as Kevin McKeehan, I'm sure glad he took me under his wing or I don't know what we would do.  Jerry from the #2 team who helped try and adjust the clutch at the track. Ashley Warnock for staying late at work most the week to cut the stickers so we looked good at the track. As well as every one else that has helped us in any way shape or form, with out you we could do what we love and that is go racing.

Drivers Diary

Sorry for the delay in the diaries. But now they should begin on a weekly base again. Lets just recap the weekend that I had. It started out Friday morning when the JA MotorSports team and I were at Mobil 1 Valley Auto Lube signing autographs and taking pictures with fans. I just want to say thanks to every one who came out and supported the JA MotorSports team as well as every one from Mobil 1 Valley Auto Lube for there hospitality. We set a new record for the amount of cars that they serviced which is great that we got to be a part of that. Than Saturday we got to hit the track and do battle with the FSCRA touring group from the west side of the state. I really enjoy running those the FSCRA guys they are just a great group of racers. Well I am off to the shop to go buff out a few paint scuffs and get ready for Friday night when we race with the North West Late Model 4's and State Line speedway.

See everyone at the track.

Drivers Diary

Hello Everyone hope you have had a good couple of weeks. Sorry it has been so long since I let you in on the inside of the life of a race car driver. It has been a crazy couple of weeks but they have been good so no complaints. There is one thing in particular I want to talk about is the Pro-4 Alliance race at South Sound in Tenino, WA.

I can't even begin to explain how happy I am with the JA MotorSports teams performance all year especially at South Sound Speedway during the first of three Pro-4 Alliance. Arriving Friday night and catching about an hour of left of the practice session we went back to the drawing board to make the necessary changes to the JA MotorSports Chevy Monte Carlo. Saturday morning during to first practice session we made a few more changes. The only problem is that we forgot to take in account the changing weather. We loosened up the car prefect for a qualifying run on warmer weather but with the cold weather made the car too lose. The 20 place qualifying run wasn't necessary what we wanted but all we could do was strip in for the heat race.

Starting on the out side pole for the second heat race of the night the JA MotorSports team and I jumped out to and early lead and held it for the first 10 laps and that point the car started loosening up again and I had to save it from the wall and we lost three positions. We brought the car home for a fourth place finish.

Sunday had a good feeling to it when I woke up we only ran one of the test seasons and I felt that the car was good to go so lining up twenty in the twenty five car field. By the pit stop on lap 50 of the 100 lap "Callander and Associates 100" we had worked our what up in to the top 12. Avoiding wrecks and staying out of trouble and some good driving we were able to bring home the JA MotorSports Chevy Monte Carlo to an eights place finish. Over all great weekend for the whole JA MotorSports team and I would like to thank my grandpa Charles Allen, who is the director of operations and crew chief. My dad Gary Allen, team manager and spotter. Jenna Savall my girlfriend and thanks to every one else who are the unsung hero's of JA MotorSports.

Hope you all have a good week and talk to you soon.

Hey there every one hope you had a great week. Mine was good except for mother nature does not want to corporate with us. The JA MotorSports team and I hauled down to the Yakima Speedway to get in about 12 hot laps and a qualifying run with the guy from FSCRA, when track officials called off the races saying that the National Weather Association didn't even thing that we could finish up the trophy dashes. I want to thank my girlfriend Jenna Savall for driving down to Yakima even with the chance of a rain out.

I was woke up yesterday by my trainer Tim Hammond who had showed up to my house so we could get in a little work out before I had to go to work. The only problem was that I didn't know he was coming over, so that was a nice little surprise, But I have to be in great shape in order to be able to be competitive in the JA MotorSports Chevy Monte Carlo.

This week at the shop we are putting in a new high flow fuel pump. As well are getting this ready for this weekend when we meet up with the North West Late Model 4's and take it to the track for another points race but this time we will be at the 1/2 mile track of Spokane Race Way Park. Hope to see every one there.

P.S. -Don't forget to pick up your JA MotorSports gear on the Merchandise page.

Words can't describe what it feels like to take home a checkered flag, let alone two wins in one night. All I could think about was how proud I was of the whole team. Opening the season with back to back wins in the B trophy dash and the heat is just a testament to this teams dedication during the off season. I can't thank my guys (and girls) enough for every thing that they have done for the team.

It has been an exciting last couple of days on Friday my friend Chris Arriola got into town from Japan were he has been serving in the Marine Corp the past two years. Yesterday was my 22 birthday, and I would like to say thanks to everyone who came to the birth day party and to everyone who helped decorate and clean up. Today was exciting we were down at Shelly's Automotive on the chassis dyno and that was a blast. I would just like to say thanks to every one at Shelly's for their help they were very helpful and a blast to work with.

Looking forward to this weekend we will be in Yakima racing with the FSCRA, these are a great bunch of drivers and it is a blast every time we race with them. We always run well at Yakima and I am feeling good about bringing home a good finish on Saturday night. There will be some of the Fan Club members making the trip down to Yakima to watch the race. So if you would like to join there just email me at TAllen@JAMotorSports.com and we can arrange a time for every one to meet.

So until next week make sure to check out the merchandise page so you can get your latest JA MotorSports gear and thanks to Don Paul in California for all his support. See ya at the track

    Weekly Diary

Hello there, hope every ones week was good. I had a packed but fun week my dad and spotter Gary Allen and I finished getting my Toyota MR2 ready for the Spokane Auto Boat Speed Show. So we have many long nights with that. Also today I finally got to drive the race car again. Lets just say that the JA MotorSports Monte Carlo is looking and driving good right now. We got to the race track right when testing opened and turned a good 30 laps before the rain cut testing short but for the most part every thing was good. After that we headed over to the Oasis Pub and Eatery for a pre season kick off. We are down there with a hydro plane that was a blast getting to learn about hydro planes. This week we have test scheduled for this Thursday again. So now the first race is only 14 days away hope to see every one at the track. So have a good week and Ill talk to you soon.

Hello again, Hope every one had a good week. Here at JA MotorSports I had a great week. Saturday Jake Kleweno, Gary Allen, Don Belcher, and Myself headed over to the Spokane Skill Center to give the JA MotorSports Chevy Monte Carlo a new coat of paint. Also the JA MotorSports crew and I have our first sponsor appearance scheduled for the 31st at the Oasis Pub and Tavern for more detailing on that check the news section. Also I have been keeping up with my work outs with my trainer Tim. Hope every one has a good week and let the count down begin to the season opener on April 14th at State Line Speedway.

Sincerely
