80 Photos Updated click here to view JA MotorSports Claims a top 5 finish in a back up car 6/1/2008 Saturday night Driver Travis Allen and the rest of the JA MotorSports team took to the track at State Line Speedway in a Ron Rohde owned back up car, due to last week unfortunate event at South Sound Speedway in Tenino, WA. The team unloaded and had a few things that needed to be tweaked since it has been a while since it has been a while since the car has made some laps on a track. After changing a carburetor and a few other minor adjustments the team shaved a second off of there hot lap time but still not enough to make it into the fast dash of the night. The heat race saw the temporary red and black car JA MotorSports team on the pole for the start of the race. With a great start by Allen he began to check out on the field when he spun the car coming out of turn two the rest of the field did a great job avoiding Allen's spun out car. Having brought out the caution Travis had to start in the back of the field. Starting on the pole again for the main Allen battling a loose race car all night long lead the first couple of laps than surrendered the lead and moved to the back of the field working his way up by avoiding the wrecks and by hard driving Travis was able to wheel the number 80 Monte Carlo owned by Ron Rohde to a fourth place finish earning much valuable points in the race to a championship. JA MotorSports takes to the track again on June 21st for the second Pro-4 Race at State Line Speedway.
