JA MotorSports ready to due battle at another Wednesday night fever at State Line Speedway

JA MotorSports driver Travis Allen will be back in the Fever Four for JA MotorSports tomorrow night at State Line Speedway. This race will mark the fourth time that Travis will attempt to run the fever with nothing but bad luck plaguing the team this year, they are looking for tomorrow night to be the turn around that the team has been looking for. "I would like to thank Kameron McKeehan for running the car for me the last couple weeks allowing me to focus on our late model program, but I am defiantly looking forward to getting behind the wheel again" Travis Allen

The hired driver for JA MotorSports, Kameron McKeehan had overall a good night at State Line Speedway last night 8/4/2010. Kameron was able to pilot the number 80 Fever Four to the top of the speed chart in qualifying, laying down a lap time of 15.498 which is just .15 off the track record for the Wednesday night fever cars. After a few adjustments that were made after the trophy dash and the heat race Kameron was on his way to the front of the pack when the 26 car of Derek Almy and Kameron made contact sending the 80 car spinning into the infield. After Kameron was able to gather the car up he made a strong charge through the pack to finish a solid 8th place on the night. Look for Kameron to make more starts behind the wheel of the 80 Fever Four car this year as well a starts behind the wheel of his number 72 Super Late Model and #41 NW Pro 4 car for 3K racing.

"When it rains it pours" , Driver of the JA MotorSports number 80 fever four Travis Allen stated after climbing out of the car to watch yet another Idaho 200 Outlaw Compacts race. "This one is just really tough to handle, my team and I worked so hard the last two weeks to get both our cars and after all said and done we missed both races." Allen was caught saying. The teams bad luck for this weekend just seem to get the better of them again as the team was lining in in there 11 place starting position for the race. The oil pressure line sheered away from the fitting and caused a massive oil leak the prevented the team for finally getting to race the race that team driver Travis Allen has been trying to make since he started driving 5 years ago. As many of you JA MotorSports fans know Travis has been trying to race the Idaho 200 outlaw compacts race now for quite some time trying to follow in his dads footsteps and be only the second driver to the beat the compacts at State Line Speedway. "Oh well the beauty of this sports there will always be a next year and another race to run, we will turn out attention to getting the car ready for Wednesday night fever were we hired Kameron McKeehan to run the car for us."

After a long wait it is official JA MotorSports driver Travis Allen has qualified for the Idaho 200 Outlaw Compacts race. Travis has been trying to make this race for 5 years now and after qualifying an impressive 11th out of the 32 cars that showed up. The team is locked in to the field for tomorrow nights race. The team has a little work today tonight thought during the "B" Trophy dash the dip stick holder broke loose from the block, causing oil to end the teams night early. COME CELEBRATE THE BEGINNING OF THE 2010 RACE SEASON. There will be booths, coupons, vendors, race day tickets giveaway, meet and greet with drivers Travis Allen, Ryen Tarr, Andy Campbell, and John Vallone AND of course there will be RACE CARS. Celebrate the season to come by bringing your friends and family. Following the party driver Ryen Tarr will be racing at the Stateline Speed way.

The night did not go as planned for the debut of the Andy Campbell's JA MotorSports Chevy Monte Carlo Saturday night in Wenatchee for the TC Transportation 75. The team was pretty good when they unloaded and things were headed in the right direction when every teams worst night mere happened, motor issues that eventually knocked the 80 out of competition before qualifying began. During final practice driver Andy Campbell noticed the car was losing power about 7,000 RPM and brought the car in for inspection, and upon further review problem ended up being terminal. "That's racing, nothing you can do about it now." Crew chief Travis Allen stated. "Too bad that Andy wont be able to make his debut with the pro 4 alliance tonight he was making great strides behind the wheel as practice went on, defiantly a top 15 car tonight."

Talks have already begun in the JA MotorSports shop about Yakima, tons of things are still up in the air but closer to running the Alliance race #2 than the team was two weeks ago.

JA MotorSports would like to extend a thank you to the new crew members that were brought in to help this weekend Justin Asker, Kim Campbell and Shanell Rogers as well as the usually guys Charlie Allen and Gary Allen.

The number 88 car driven by Andy Campbell will be making its debut for the 2010 race season this coming up weekend at Wenatchee Valley super oval during the TC Transportation 75. But one thing that will be different is that the 88 will be running the number 80 that JA MotorSports have made famous in the Pro 4 series. This will be the first time that this car has raced with the Alliance since the first season of the NW Pro 4 alliance at Meridian Speedway. This is be Andy's first race in this car and will mark the debut of JA MotorSports regular driver Travis Allen as a crew chief. Stay tuned this week for updates on the car getting finished.

Come visit Drivers Travis Allen and Arin LaMoutain this weekend at the Spokane Auto Boat Speed Show at the Spokane County Fair Grounds this weekend and get your picture taken with the cars and get your signed hero cards for both drivers.
